Reduce or Eliminate
Panic Attacks with Nutrition

Anxiety can be dramatically reduced with the proper nutrition. Panic attacks are more extreme versions of stress and involve a big use of the body's adrenalin, depleting the adrenal glands. Special nutrition is needed for recovery.

Nutrition for reducing anxiety:

  • Pure natural Cod liver oil daily
  • Inositol - Up to 18 grams a day depending on the individual + proportionate amounts of choline and a balanced B complex. (I only need 2-3 grams of inositol)
  • Virgin Coconut oil - 2-3 tablespoons a day (work up to that level slowly) or cook in coconut oil and use shredded coconut and coconut milk in your recipes and smoothies.
  • Drink 1/2 your body weight (in ounces, 60 lb = 60 0z) of pure water a day; add 1/4 tsp unrefined Sea Salt (gray, moist, and unprocessed) per quart of water or put extra sea salt on food.
  • B vitamin Complex in a.m. and p.m. along with Nutritional Yeast (Use a brand free of MSG, (not the same as brewer's yeast))
  • Cut out refined sugar, carbohydrates and caffeine
  • Sea Minerals-Minerals support the nervous system and its communication with the body. They help relax the muscles.
  • Try to meditate daily or take a short nap. This reduces cumulative stress and slows down stress reactions.

Cod liver oil and coconut oils balance the hormones and nourish the body. B vitamins are crucial nutrition for supporting the nerves and mental health. Water is vital for transporting these nutrients to the cells. Refined sugar and carbohydrates stimulate an over-active nervous system. Caffeine is also a stimulant that depletes the adrenal glands. Taking a break each day, like meditation, can reduce the cumulative affects of stress.

Inositol also has a prominent calming effect on the central nervous system, so it may be helpful to those with insomnia and panic attacks. Studies on brain waves have shown that it has an effect similar to that of librium or valium. It can gradually lower blood pressure, and can be helpful in cases of schizophrenia, hypoglycemia, and those with high serum copper and low serum zinc levels.

NOTE: ((Because it stimulates muscles of the alimentary canal, inositol is helpful in cases of constipation. It can also induce labor contractions in pregnant women. Intake of caffeine is known to deplete the bodies supply of inositol. It is best used with choline, which should be taken in the same amount as inositol. It is best to take the entire B-group vitamins with it. Vitamin E, vitamin C as well as folic acid and linoleic acid are thought to increase the functioning of inositol. diarrhea has been noted with the intake of very high dosage))

Those with adrenal gland disorders, may need more salt in their urine and need to add more to their diet to replenish. The unrefined Sea Salt is not your typical grocery store variety. It is a non-processed sea salt that has a full compliment of natural trace minerals. The color will be gray and it is moist. It works best dissolved in food juices and water, sprinkled and dissolved on fruits and vegetables. Drink plenty of water to balance out the salt. Note: regular grocery store salt is processed, does not have the full compliment of minerals and can be harmful.

The results are more calm, relaxed, patient, loving behaviors with space around stressful thoughts for making calmer decisions and choices.

Proper nutrition is very powerful and can create dramatic positive changes. It is more effective than medication and can create permanent solutions.
